About Us

Kevin McGugan began working on cars for his father in 1981 at Auto Warehouse,  which would eventually become one of the largest independent European auto sellers on the east coast.  While attending college in Boone he worked for Swedish Werke in nearby Foscoe servicing and repairing European automobiles.   Upon returning to Greensboro he went back to work for his father at Wickstead Foreign Car Exchange, where not only did he repair cars, he managed the service department.  In 1999 his entrepreneurial spirit got the best of him and so began Autobahn Garage.  Kevin is very proud of the relationships he and his employee's have developed with their customers over the years.  He looks forward to earning your business.

Routine Service

Our oil services include tire rotation when applicable. While the vehicle is in the air we inspect brake systems, belts, hoses, etc. We check for fluid leaks and top up as necessary, as well as check tires for wear and correct inflation. Our goal is to address problems and advise or correct them early, saving you time and money over the life of the vehicle. Autobahn Garage also offers a comprehensive prepurchase inspection, something we strongly recommend .

Repairs

We can take care of anything, from a minor bulb replacement, that you can drop by for, to engine or transmission overhauls. Check engine light, air conditioning, suspension and computerized diagnostics. We do it all. Not only will we repair your vehicle, we will save you money over the dealership prices. We will always contact you with an estimate before beginning any repair.
